Linda Alvarez will be presenting Discovering Agreement: Exploring Power Dynamics in Negotiation at the Second Annual Lawyers as Peacemakers Conference at the Phoenix School of Law. The conference will bring together the disciplines of the Comprehensive/Integrative Law movement to educate the public, encourage and support lawyers, judges, mediators, and other legal professionals in this work.
Comprehensive Law, also known as Integrative Law, is an international movement in law that integrates concepts of healing conflict, peacemaking, and humanistic values into legal practice.
The conference will be held from Friday, February 22 to Sunday, February 24. Friday evening’s presentations are open to the public. CLE opportunities are available Saturday and Sunday. Linda will be joined by twelve other Comprehensive/Integrative law leaders, including attorney and author J. Kim Wright, professor Susan Daicoff, and former Chief Justice of the Utah Supreme Court Michael Zimmerman. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Volunteer Lawyers Program.
